The gold-tone metal base feels surprisingly solid for such a small piece, and the enamel accents are crisp rather than cheap-looking. It’s been clipped to a board book for two weeks now without any scratches, which is more than I can say for past paper bookmarks.

The enamel detailing catches the light just right when I’m reading in the evening, and the gold-tone metal feels solid enough to clip onto a page without slipping. I’ve been using it daily for two weeks now and the finish hasn’t scratched once.

It’s small and sturdy, so it won’t bend in a bag, and the gold-tone metal has a nice weight to it for such a little thing. I keep it in my current read and it slides out smoothly without leaving marks on the page.
